Problem
The water harvesting structures had to be built quite near the structural elements of the building.
Solution
Rainwater Harvesting: After assessment, we advised and got the builder to build recharge pits at apt locations, away from the structural elements of the building such as the foundation. The pits were shifted towards the common green areas and driveways.
Conclusion
By implementing mindful rainwater harvesting on our sites, we can help reduce the load on municipality drains and reduce urban floods.
We are also able to give back to mother earth by recharging the ground water table, thus ensuring that we do not have dearth of water.
